Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
Speaker/microphone module(s) shall be Alpha Communications® /
S.T.R.™ (TSM 5-wire) or (TSMA 2-wire) or (TSMB 2-wire loop) or
(TSMB3 2-wire QWIKBus™) series or approved equal.
Speaker/microphone module(s) shall snap into the corresponding
MT series modular panel frame(s).
Speaker/microphone module(s) shall be finished in Titanium (suffix-
T), White (suffix-W), Brown (suffix-B), Silver (suffix-S), or Dark
Grey (suffix DG) and shall feature a weather-resistant speaker,
long life electret condenser microphone, illuminated dry contact
low voltage light push button and plug-in connector for easy
wiring.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.
TSM / TSMA / TSMB / TSMB3 Series
Speaker/Microphones for Modular Door Stations
The TSM series speaker/microphones are designed to be used with
Alpha Communications®/ S.T.R.™ modular series door entry
stations.
The TSM series is used with the standard 5-wire type apartment
handsets (i.e. HT3003, HT2003, HT2006) and standard analog
video-intercom systems. The TSMA series is used with the
standard 2-wire type AlphaTone™ apartment handsets (i.e.
HT3009, HT2009).
The TSMB series is used with the 2-wire (loop) type ReliaBUS™
apartment handsets (i.e. HT3011, HT2011).
The TSMB3 series is used with the 2-wire (loop) type QwikBUS™
apartment handsets (i.e. HT3033, HT40, HT45).
All TSM speaker/microphone modules feature a weather-resistant
speaker, long-life electret condenser microphone, illuminated dry-
contact low voltage light pushbutton and plug-in connector
for easy wiring.
All TSM speaker/microphone modules are now available in five (5)
attractive finishes; Titanium (suffix-T), White (suffix-W), Brown
(suffix-B), Silver (suffix-S) or Dark Grey (suffix-DG).
All TSM speaker/microphone modules are 3.94"w x 3.94"h (100mm x
100mm), and are made to snap into the MT series modular panel
trim frame(s).
