Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The Auxiliary Relay Module unit(s) shall be Alpha Communications®
/ S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ model AM333, or approved equal. The AM333
shall be built into a rugged high impact plastic case, and shall
be powered by the QwikBUS™ video-intercom or intercom station.
The AM333 shall provide a normally open, dry contact closure
when the QwikBUS™ video-intercom or intercom station is called
from a lobby or entry station.
Low voltage wiring shall be used and positive screw terminal relay
output connectors shall be provided for installation wiring. The
AM333 shall be mounted behind the QwikBUS™ video-intercom or
intercom station, where appropriate.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.
AM333 Auxiliary Relay Module
The Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ AM333 Auxiliary Relay
Module is used with the QwikBUS™ series intercom and / or video-
intercom systems. The AM333 plugs into the QwikBUS™
series intercom and / or video-intercom station, and provides a
normally-open, dry contact closure, when the station is being
called from a lobby or entrance station. This allows connection of
a separately powered device, such as a strobe, loud bell, etc.
The AM333 gets its power from the QwikBUS™ series intercom
and/or video-intercom station directly, by means of a plug-in
wiring harness and connector.
