Specifications
The PRO700 remote station(s) shall be
Alpha Communications® / Ring model
AB731A (surface) or AB731A-F (flush) or
approved equivalent. Remote(s)
shall have clear two-way
communications. Stations are made of
stainless steel with a 1.5 mm thick front
plate. Remote is a tamper-resistant unit,
designed to protect the push-button,
microphone and loudspeaker. Remote
features call button, loudspeaker, and
microphone.
The AB731A-F is for flush mounting and
comes with a light duty backbox for EMC
protection. Remotes are easy to install,
and shall require simple loop wiring. By
installing the optional Sound
Detection Module (model DP996), a call
can be initiated automatically when a
certain preset sound level is reached.
Contractor shall observe all local and
national electrical and building codes.

AB731A and AB731A-F Tamper-Resistant Outdoor Remote Stations
These PRO700 remote stations are compact, dust resistant,
and feature robust construction. The stations are made in
stainless steel with a 1.5 mm thick front-plate. The construction
insures optimal protection of the push-button, microphone and
loudspeaker. The stations are ideally suited for applications
in correctional institutions, prisons, police stations, parking garages,
subway stations, and other hi-abuse locations.
The AB731A-F is for flush mounting and comes with a light duty
backbox for EMC protection. When an optional backbox is needed for
concrete mounting, the model BBF731 must be ordered.
The station has an internal loudspeaker with a 3 Watt amplifier. An
optional external speaker can easily be connected. The stations are equipped with a call
button for establishing connection with extension number 13. The same call button may
optionally be used for door bell function.
