2 Beschreibung 2 Display: Der Sender ist mit einem fünfzeiligen LC-Display ausgestattet: Alphanumerische Anzeige des eingestellten Wertes oder der Batteriekapzität in Stunden Batteriekapazität oder Audiopegel als Balkendiagramm Name, Frequenzgruppe, Kanal (nur im Preset-Menü) Betriebszustand, Maßeinheit Einzustellender Parameter Das Display zeigt sämtliche Parameter des Handsenders an: - Trägerfrequenz in MHz oder als Subkanal der Frequenzgruppe - Audio-Eingangspegel - Batterieladezustand und Restspielzei
3 Inbetriebnahme Bevor Sie Ihr WMS 4000 in Betrieb nehmen, kontrollieren Sie, ob Sender und Empfänger auf dieselbe Frequenz eingestellt sind. Siehe dazu Kapitel 3.6 und Bedienungsanleitung des Empfängers. Wichtig: In den Display-Abbildungen in den folgenden Kapiteln sind die blinkenden Anzeigen durch die Zeichen ">" und "<" gekennzeichnet. Die Zahlenwerte sind Beispiele für mögliche Einstellungen. Hinweis: Das Symbol Das Symbol bedeutet "Jog-Schalter kurz drücken". bedeutet "Jog-Schalter lang drücken".

Falls die Trägerfrequenz des Senders nicht genehmigt ist und/oder nicht mit der Empfängerfrequenz übereinstimmt, stellen Sie den Sender auf eine geeignete Trägerfrequenz ein (siehe Kapitel 3.6). 3.4.2 Einschalten im LOCK-Modus Siehe Fig. 1. 1. Am Display erscheint folgende Anzeige: 4a Wenn Sie die eingestellte Frequenz speichern wollen, drücken Sie kurz den Jog-Schalter.

Wenn kein Preset gespeichert ist, zeigt das Display "-- -- --". 3. Um das nächste Preset zu wählen, drehen Sie den Jog-Schalter kurz nach rechts. Um das vorige Preset zu wählen, drehen Sie den Jog-Schalter kurz nach links. 4. Wenn Sie die gewünschte Presetgruppe gewählt haben, drücken Sie kurz den Jog-Schalter.
3 Inbetriebnahme 1. Achten Sie darauf, jeden Sendekanal (Sender + Empfänger) auf eine eigene Trägerfrequenz einzustellen. 2. Um möglichst rasch und einfach intermodulationsfreie Trägerfrequenzen zu finden, empfehlen wir, die Trägerfrequenzen im Preset-Menü innerhalb desselben Presets und derselben Frequenzgruppe auszuwählen. 3.

Am Display erscheint der gespeicherte Wert in dB, die Anzeige "GAIN" blinkt. • Wenn Sie den eingestellten Wert nicht speichern wollen, drehen Sie den Jog-Schalter kurz nach links oder rechts. Am Display erscheint "Save-n". - Drücken Sie kurz den Jog-Schalter. Am Display erscheint wieder der ursprüngliche Wert in dB, die Anzeige "GAIN" blinkt. 5.

Indem Sie den Jog-Schalter nach links drehen, können Sie die obigen Parameter in umgekehrter Reihenfolge durchgehen. Im SETUP- und SILENT-Modus erscheinen die verschiedenen Einstellmenüs (siehe auch Kapitel 3.4 bis 3.8) in untenstehender Reihenfolge sowie die Batterieanzeige und eventuelle Fehlermeldungen in der Reihenfolge ihres Auftretens.
4 Betriebshinweise 4.6.1 Besprechungsabstand und Naheffekt Siehe Fig. 6. Grundsätzlich wird Ihre stimme umso voller und weicher wiedergegeben, je kürzer der Abstand zwischen den Lippen und dem Mikrofon ist, während bei größerer Mikrofondistanz ein halligeres, entfernteres Klangbild zustande kommt, da die Akustik des Raumes stärker zur Geltung kommt. Sie können daher Ihre Stimme aggressiv, neutral oder einschmeichelnd klingen lassen, indem Sie den Mikrofonabstand verändern.

2 Description 2.4.1 Controls Refer to fig. 1. 1 Status LED: This bicolor LED indicates the current operating status of the transmitter: Green: The output signal of the microphone element is fed to the transmitter, which transmits the audio signal to the receiver. Red: The audio signal is muted while the RF section remains active. This prevents unwanted noise from becoming audible in the signal chain.
3 Setting Up Prior to setting up your WMS 4000, check that the transmitter and receiver are tuned to the same frequency, referring to section 3.6 and the receiver manual. In the display illustrations in the following sections, blinking characters are identified by angle symbols ">" and "<". All the values shown are examples of possible settings. The " The " Important! Note: " symbol stands for a short push of the jog switch. " symbol stands for a long push of the jog switch.
3 Setting Up The transmitter is now in SILENT mode (see also section 4.2.3). 2. If the carrier frequency is not an allocated or coordinated one and/or different from the receiver frequency, set the transmitter to a suitable, legal frequency referring to section 3.6. 3.4.2 Powering Up in LOCK Mode Refer to fig. 1. 1. Press the ON/OFF button (3) for approx. 1.5 seconds. 2. As soon as the below screen appears on the display, the transmitter is in LOCK mode.

If no Preset has been stored in memory, the 2nd line of the display shows "-- -- --". 3. To select the next Preset, turn the jog switch briefly to the right. To select the previous Preset, turn the jog switch briefly to the left. 4. Having selected the desired Preset, push the jog switch briefly.
3 Setting Up 1. Be sure to assign a separate carrier frequency to each wireless channel (transmitter and receiver). 2. To find intermodulation-free carrier frequencies quickly and easily, we recommend selecting all required carrier frequencies from the same Frequency Group within the same Preset. 3.7 Multichannel Systems If reception on the selected carrier frequency is disturbed, increase or decrease the carrier frequency by at least 50 kHz or one or two Subchannels on each transmitter and receiver.

The display will show your new gain setting in dB and the "GAIN" label will be flashing. • If you'd rather not save your setting, turn the jog switch briefly to the left or right. The display will change to "Save-n". - Push the jog switch briefly. The display will revert to the original setting, with the "GAIN" label flashing. 5. To set input gain again, repeat steps 1 through 4 above. 6.

To step through the above screens in reverse order, turn the jog switch briefly to the left. In SETUP and SILENT modes, the various setup menus described in sections 3.4 through 3.8 as well as the battery screen come up in the order shown below, followed by any error messages in the order of their occurrence. If there are no error messages, the display will show "no Err". - 4.
4 Operating Notes Proximity effect is a more or less dramatic boost of low frequencies that occurs when you sing into the microphone from less than 2 inches. It gives more “body” to your voice and an intimate, bass-heavy sound. 4.6.2 Angle of Incidence Refer to fig. 7. Sing to one side of the microphone or above and across the microphone’s top. This provides a well-balanced, natural sound.
