STEAM HUMIDIFIER QUICK SET UP Use these basic instructions to quickly set up your unit. Read the important information on page 4 about the safe usage of this product. UNPACK HUMIDIFIER The OZARK is preassembled, and only needs to be filled with water for operation. 1. 2.
ADD INHALANT SUBSTANCE THIS UNIT HAS A SMALL CUP WHERE LIQUID OR GEL MEDICINE / ESSENTIAL OIL CAN BE RELEASED WITH THE STEAM. DO NOT OVERFILL. DO NOT POUR WATER OR OIL INTO THE STEAM VENT. IT WILL CAUSE DAMAGE. Rx ADD A FEW DROPS OF LIQUID MEDICINE OR ESSENTIAL OIL TO THE SMALL CUP INDENTATION AT THE FRONT, ONLY, NOT INTO THE LARGER CHAMBER. NOTES ON POSITION The Ozark releases very warm steam (120° F), so consider these points for location: • Keep out of reach of children.

GENERAL INFORMATION STEAM RELEASED How Steam Humidifiers Work Steam humidifiers are a type of humidifier that quickly heats water to produce steam. Most commonly used to aid people suffering from nasal congestion due to allergies or colds, these units can offer rapid relief by infusing the steam with medicine or essential oils.
DETAILED SET UP Unpack the humidifier 1. 2. 3. 4. Open box and remove the packing material. Remove any packaged literature on top. Remove the unit from the carton. Unwrap the power cord and extend it. This will prevent the cord from overheating during extended usage of the humidifier. The Ozark is fully assembled. NOTE: Vaporizer humidifiers release steam that can cause condensation on surfaces. Please take precautions to protect any surface where water damage could occur.
3. Place the tank onto the base, carefully aligning the tank edges to the base. The bottle should fit against the base closely, without large gaps. Add Medicine or Essential Oils WARNING: Do not pour liquid oil into the water tank or into the large vent. It will cause harm to the unit. 1. 2. The Ozark has a small cup at the front of the vent area for adding medicinal liquids, gels or essential oils. This allows the steam to carry the scent into the air. Do not overfill.
MAINTENANCE General Regular cleaning of the Ozark is required In order to keep the unit in good operating condition. Keeping the unit clean will help eliminate odors and bacterial growth. Do not leave water in the water tank or base when the unit is not used for a day or more. Mineral deposits and bacterial growth can accumulate very quickly. CAUTIONS: • Turn off and unplug the unit before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
5. With the water tank set aside, take note of the small plastic piece locking the cooling inner and outer chambers into the unit. 6. Push the small plastic lever on the interlock to PUSH THE LEVER TO THE OTHER SIDE TO UNLOCK THE COOLING CHAMBER INTERLOCK the other side and release the inner chamber. 7.
