TREE MARKING PAINT
PRODUCT NUMBERS:
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Description: Aervoe Tree Marking Paint is a full line
of ready-mixed products for use during all seasons.
This heavily-pigmented product provides bright visual
identication at a great distance for dependable and cost-
effective boundary and inventory marking.
Benets: Available in eight regular and ve uorescent
colors. Blended to offer speedy application, and will not
soak into the wood. Aerosol tip selections provide a
choice of either vertical or horizontal markings. Excellent
for horizontal numbering, lettering or writing. All colors
are lead-free for safest application and environmental
consideration. Contains no ozone depleting substances.
Application: Use for marking cut wood, trees, logs,
railroad ties, pulpwood and nished lumber for grade and
select cut marking.
Directions: Apply to a dry, or near dry, surface that is
somewhat clean and free of mud and other material
that may block paint adhesion. For wet applications use
Aervoe Wet Coat tree marking paint. For best results, use
at temperatures between 30° and 100°F (-1° and 38° C).
For aerosol application, each can is supplied with two
spray tip heads. Select desired spray nozzle and place
in valve seat. The red spray tip, which is standard on the
can, provides a circular spray pattern for banding and
spotting, and should be sprayed at a distance of 8 to 12
inches. The white spray tip is for numbering and writing at
8 to 12 inches. Exchange tips for the application required,
as needed. Align sprayhead with black mark on valve rim
to ensure complete evacuation of contents. Shake can
vigorously for at least one minute after agitator ball rattles,
and intermittently during use. Recoating is not necessary.
Prepare can for storage by turning upside down and
spraying for 2 to 3 seconds. If clogging occurs, turn spray
tip 1/4 turn; if it persists, remove and clean slot on tip.
Never stick a pin or any other object into tip opening or
into stem. Replace spray tip with a gentle, twisting motion,
making certain the tip is pointed away from you.
Limitations: Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet for
specic information on material hazards, etc. Product is
extremely ammable, and is intended for outdoor use
only.
