The antenna is produced to Military Specification MIL-A-25707 and MIL-A-25707/1. The antenna is designed to operate at the extreme temperature range of -67° F to 302° F. The AT-740/A is a flush-mounted, cavity-back slot antenna constructed of aluminum with a fiberglass radome.
