Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro is intended for indoor use in dry
locations only. Do not use in damp, moist, and / or wet
locations.

Optimally placing Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro.
Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro has been designed to be mounted
on the edge of a door or moving window. To optimally install it,
please note the following;
• Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro must be installed so that its two
parts (Magnet and Sensor) separate when the door or
window is opened and come together when closed.
• As a magnetic sensor utilising wireless communication, Door
/ Window Sensor 7 Pro may not optimally work when
mounted on a metal frame.
• If using the thin metal magnet with Door / Window Sensor 7
Pro, make sure that it is installed on the side where the
notchis located.
• Note that both pieces of the sensor feature a notch. When
installed, the two notches should align in order to optimise
sensor performance with a gap of no more than 20mm /
0.79” between them.
• Test Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro in your selected installation
Quick start.
The following will step you through installing Door / Window
Sensor 7 Pro and connecting it to your Z-Wave network.
1. Press and hold the Latch on the larger sensor part and
separate the front from the back-mount plate and then pull
the case off completely.
2. Remove the Pull Tab to engage the sensor’s pre-installed
batteries. The LED will flash red once indicating it is
powered on.
3. Add Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro to your Z-Wave network;
a. If your Z-Wave gateway supports SmartStart: scan the
QR code on Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro using the
gateway’s app. Your sensor will join your Z-Wave
network automatically.
b. If your gateway does not support SmartStart;
i. Set your Z-Wave gateway into its ‘add device’ mode.
Refer to the gateway’s manual if you are unsure of
how to perform this step.
ii. Press the sensor’s Tamper Switch 3 times within 1.5
seconds; it is located on the lower right side with the
battery pointed forward.
iii. Now Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro is joining your
Z-Wave network or its LED will blink green and red
and then joins your network .
iv. If pairing is successful, LED will light up green for 3
seconds before turning off.
If pairing failed, LED will flash red 3 times, it was
unable to join your Z-Wave network; repeat the step
or contact us for further support if needed.
4. After testing Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro in your chosen
installation location, affix the main sensor’s back-mount
plate with either the provided screws or double-sided tape.

Ensure the line marker is aligned towards the magnet’s
installation location.
Important. Make sure that the Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro
is completely enclosed over the mounting plate, otherwise
the battery of your sensor will drain out within a few days by
remaining completely active.
5. Install the magnet opposite the main sensor. Ensure the
line marker is aligned with the notch on the main sensor
body.
Door / Window Sensor 7 Pro is now a part of your Z-Wave home
control system. You can configure it and its automations via
your Z-Wave system; please refer to your software’s user guide
for precise instructions.

montage choisi, fixez la plaque arrière du capteur principal avec les vis

marquage est aligné sur l'emplacement d'installation de l'aimant.
