Gas connection In accordance with currently valid regulations, connection of the hob location to the gas line must be made with upstream arrangement of a shutoff cock. This cock must be easily accessible at all times. The connection 10 natural gas or town gas is made directly on the connection. Connection to liquefied gas {propane butane) is made with intermediate arrangement of a tight connection spice with pipe Fitting hints Cutout dimensions: Fig. 1, page 4 Cutout width: Fig.
Important hints prior to installation Connection During connection of the appliance, a device is to be provided which enables the appliance to be separated from the mains supply with an contact opening width of at least 3 mm. Suitable separating devices are automatic cut-outs, fuses, and contractors. The electric mains line must be at least Type HOOVES-F or HOVHANESS-F 3G 1,5% The appliance is designed fora 220 V a. ¢.or 240 V a. c. supply.
Fitting hints The minimum distance of the hob cutout at the rear is 55 mm and laterally to the wall 80 mm. The distance of the extractor hood to the hob unit must be observed in compliance with the installation instructions of the extraction hood! For the distance laterally to elevated cabinets, we recommend at least 300 mm to meet work performance requirements. N.B. Use no silicone adhesive tape for fitting of the build-in hob into the worktop.
Operation The switch toggle (Fig. §) of the required burner location is first rotated to the left {counterclockwise) to “tare flame”. Then firmly press the toggle. Only then does gas flow from the burner and is safely ignited by the pulsed sparks. The switch toggle must be pressed for a further few seconds (around 6-7} 5o that the gas supply automatically reaming open {the thermonuclear then being adequately heated). If iris released to0 early, the flames will go aut again.
Conversion of hobs to another gas type N. B. Prior to setting, the hob must be DE-energized. Loosen retaining screw Fig. 2/1 and push back injector Fig, 2/2 until the latter may be grasped. Change nozzle Fig. 2/3 according to nozzle table. Push forward injector until injector front edge and marking Fig. 2/4 on nozzle stem coincide. Care For cleaning, please do not use any hard abject and agents. It is frequently sufficient to use a cloth mentioned with washing-up liquid suds (not too wet) Important for trouble-free operation are clean thermoplastic, ignition plugs, and bores in the burner covers. Do not modify thermoplastic when cleaning.
