DVD Region Coding For HR8AD and the DVD are coded by region. These region codes must match in order for the DVD to play. If the codes do not match, the DVD will not play. The HR8AD code is set to region 1. Playback of any other region will not work in the HR8AD.

Remove the Pull Tab before attempting to use the remote. (Figure6). Note: The remote control will only operate this device. It is not a universal remote control and will not control other equipment.

Locate the battery compartment cover on the left earphone. 2. While holding the left earphone in one hand, press down on the battery compartment cover and slide it UP and OFF in the direction shown. For example, the user can set a language for the on-screen display or prevent DVD playback for children. USING THE SETUP BUTTON ON THE REMOTE CONTROL 1. Press the SETUP button on the remote. Audio Inputs An external video source, video game system, or other audio/video devices can be connected to the AV input. This AV input connection is normally performed when the unit is installed. Turn the video source component on with its power button or remote control and it is now ready to play the audio and video signals from the source connected to the AV input. 2.

Types of Discs your DVD Player will play • DVD* disc - DVD discs that contain video. • Audio disc - Audio CDs that contain musical or sound content only. • MP3 disc - A disc that contains audio files (for example, a CD-R with downloaded MP3 files). *This system is capable of playing most recordable DVD formats.
