2 Using phone features 2.1 Turning the phone function on and off To enable or disable Airplane Mode In many countries, you are required by law to turn off the phone while on board an aircraft. Another way to turn off the phone function is to switch your device to Airplane Mode. When you enable Airplane Mode, all wireless radios on your device are turned off, including the phone function, Bluetooth, and WLAN. > Settings > More > Airplane mode. 1. Touch 2. Compose text and multimedia messages 1. Touch ‘+’ Compose icon. The Compose screen opens. 2. Add recipients by typing a name, phone number, or email address in the ‘Type name or number’ field. Matching contacts will appear. Select the recipient or continue typing. Add as many recipients as you wish. If you send the message to an email address, the message will automatically convert from a text to a multimedia message. 3. To add a subject, press MENU and select ‘Add subject’.
