Instructions for PAC-WAD
Contents:
Screws 2 qty
Hose adaptor 1 qty
Window void plates 2 qty
Plate A has oval hole
Plate B has a series of small holes on top
If the window is less than 26.5 inches Void Plate B is NOT needed
Needed Tools
Screw driver
Hand saw (needed for some installs)
If the window is less than 36.5 inches a saw will be needed
Install Instructions
Step 1
Lay out all contents and make sure all are present. Gather needed tools. Measure window to
determine the width. Measure to the inside of the guide the window slides up and down in. If this
measurement is shorter than 36.5 inches a hand saw will be needed.
Step 2
Take Void Plate A and Hose Adaptor and join. Plate A should have Oval on the Right Side with the
smooth face facing out, away from you. Take Hose adaptor and insert the 4 taps through Void Plate A.
Once the tabs are inserted, slide the adaptor to the Right. You should hear it lock into place. the Hose
adaptor should be firmly attached to Void Plate A.
Step 3
Void Plate A has an oval hole on the right side. On the top of Void Plate A is a small hole on the left and
right side. Void Plate B has a series of holes on the top side. The smooth side of Void plate B should be
facing towards you. Slide Void Plate B into Void Plate A from the left side. Place the assembled void
adaptors in the window. Slide Void plate A and Void plate B apart reaching from one side of the window
to the other. Take 1 qty screw and attached in the hole on the left side Void Plate A and screw into the
hole of Void Plate B. Make sure the void plates remain spread apart reaching from one side of the
window to the other side. The second screw is not needed but provided in case the first screw is lost.
Close window on top of the void plates.
Cutting the Adaptor
If the measurement was shorter then 36.5inches the assembled adaptor will need to be cut. Hold
adaptor up to the frame of the window. Be sure to hold in the track where the window slides up and
down. Mark the adaptor where you need to cut so the adaptor will fit in the track. Remove the screw
from Void Plate A. Slide Void plate B out. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE MEASURED CORRECTLY BEFORE
CUTTING THE ADAPTOR. Cut Void plate where you marked. Go back to Step 3 and finish the install.
