2.2 Notes before use Rugged Tablet Computer Before using your device, please read through the following instructions ⚫ Use only the power adapter that comes with your device. Using a different power adapter may cause damage. ⚫ The AC power cord is designed for the RTC-1010 only. ⚫ This product is intended to be supplied by a Listed Power Adapter or DC power source, rated 12Vdc, 3A minimum, Tma = 40°C. 2.3 Turning on the Device Rugged Tablet Computer The power button turns your device on and off. Hold the button for one second to power on. To start or wake from sleep mode, hold the power button for 0.5 seconds until the shutdown confirmation is shown. If the system remains unresponsive, press and hold the power button to force power off (may result in data loss). It is strongly recommended that the user back up important data regularly.

3.1.1 System Rugged Tablet Computer Configure the Display 1. Go to Settings> System> Display RTC-1010 Change Size: Adjust the display size for text, apps, and other items (default 100%) Lock Rotation: Lock rotation of display. Turning this on will prevent the screen from automatically rotating when device is held in a different orientation. Brightness: Enable automatic adjustment of screen brightness based on input from the light sensor.
Configure Notifications Rugged Tablet Computer 1. Go to Settings> System 2. Select Notifications & actions RTC-1010 Select which notifications the system will display and whether to display on the lock screen. Applications: Enable displaying notifications from applications. Lock Screen: Enable displaying notifications on the lock screen.
Configure Apps & Features Rugged Tablet Computer 1. Go to Settings> System> Apps & features This menu allows the user to view how much memory each application is using. Apps RTC-1010 can also be moved or uninstalled from this menu. Configure Power & Sleep 1. Go to Settings> System 2. Select Power & sleep System power settings can be set here, including idle time before turning off screen or entering sleep mode.
3.1.2 Device Rugged Tablet Computer Printers & Scanners 1. Go to Settings> Devices RTC-1010 2. Select Printers & scanners. 3. You can add a printer or scanner from this menu. Manage Bluetooth Devices 1. Go to Settings> Devices> Bluetooth This screen allows the user to turn Bluetooth on or off, as well as pair with available Bluetooth devices.
3.1.3 Network & Internet Rugged Tablet Computer Wi-Fi Settings 1. Go to Settings> Network & Internet> Wi-Fi RTC-1010 2. Select the Wi-Fi network or access point you wish to connect to. 3. Type in the password and tap Connect Configure Airplane Mode 1. Go to Settings> Network & Internet> Airplane mode Enable Airplane Mode to stop all wireless communication, or select which wireless devices to disable.
