PURPOSE Ø The purpose of the 40B is to sand, grind, burnish and polish a variety of surfaces from wood to steel. Ø This machine uses a spring loaded sanding head, which allows for use on round surfaces. This increases the sanding surface area making for a faster more uniform surface treatment.

INSTALLING SANDING BELTS Ø Check that the replacement belt is not damaged. o Sanding belts that are damaged should not be used. Ø Make certain the machine is unplugged from power. Ø Depress the spring arm (number 5 in the picture above) inwards and remove the old sanding belt.
